WHO WE ARE
When a catastrophic fire demolished the home of a friend, Deborah Enright, founder of Captured On Camera, saw firsthand what the homeowner had to go through with their insurance adjuster to verify the loss of their house and it’s contents. Without visual evidence. the process was not only cumbersome but provoked further emotional distress, at a time when restoration and recovery were most needed. Deborah learned what insurance companies needed to document a claim and set about creating a comprehensive inventory service for homeowners and businesses, who neither had the time or expertise to create a record of their possessions.

She worked closely with a friend, who was a software engineer, to design a cataloging system that would allow her to customize each inventory according to her client’s needs.

It wasn’t long before an opportunity arose through the New Hampshire Breast Cancer Coalition – an organization that wanted to digitize and then retire a long-running, traveling photographic exhibit – for an off-shoot of this service to include historical archiving.

Her insurance inventory service extends throughout the New England region and she most recently completed historical archiving projects for the Henry Wadsworth Longfellow Bicentennial in Campbridge, MA, and assisted the American Association of State and Local History in documenting the damage to historical societies in Mississippi and Louisiana post Hurricane Katrina.
